An Introduction to Heidi Stevenson, Homeopath
Heidi Stevenson brings a unique combination of skills and talents to her homepathy practice. She was a computer programmer, IT manager, and technical writer until an illness—incurable by modern medicine—nearly ended her life. The disease, arachnoiditis, put her through a fiery trauma, full of pain and disability. Homeopathy brought her from death's door to a new life.
Homeopathy removed the pain of arachnoiditis, most of the disabilities, alleviated emotional trauma carried throughout her life, and removed fibrocystic breast disease, which she'd lived with for over 15 years. It has been years and none of the symptoms have returned. The experience was a revelation, making Heidi reassess her life and her choice of careers.
She started to study homeopathy, using the research and analysis skills that had made her a success in the computer field. As Heidi studied, she started to realize that skills from her computer career gave her a unique ability to analyse cases—that this analytical ability, combined with her experience of living with chronic disease and pain, and empathy for others who are going through their own struggles would be a wonderful combination in a homeopath. She has never looked back or been happier.
